On Friday evening, April 12,Bob Anthony, 79, Tallahassee, Fla., experienced chest pains; however, he chose not to go to the hospital. By Saturday morning, when the pains had not lessened, Anthony agreed to go to be hospitalized. It was determined that he had indeed suffered a heart attack.
A stent was placed in the blocked artery, which immediately eased the pain and got the blood flowing. Anthony had quadruple bypass surgery in 1998.
