Reyzin Wins NCHA Non-Pro Horse of Year; Open Still Up For Grabs
Reyzin and Mary Ann Rapp - Photo by Hart PhotosReyzin, a 4-year-old mare bred and owned by Phil and Mary Ann Rapp, of Weatherford, Texas, edged season-long rival Light N Lily by two points, 86-84, in the 2013 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Horse of the Year race. The NCHA will officially crown its 2013 Open and Non-Pro Horse of the Year winners near the conclusion of the ongoing NCHA Futurity in Fort Worth, Texas.

It was an exciting day for owners Gene and Michelle Morris, who were there to celebrate their first “rock star” horse’s win.
