2013 NRCHA Hackamore Classic Entry Fees Reduced
NRCHA Hackamore Classic May 1-5, in Pueblo, Colo. The Board approved the proposal at its Feb. 22 regular meeting in Pilot Point, Texas.

Reined cow horse sire Master Remedy (Doc's Remedy x Wininic x Sugar Vandy), bred and owned by Ward Ranch, Kingsburg, Calif., died Feb. 14 of age-related natural causes. He was 33.
The 1980 stallion was one of only four horses to sire three National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Champions – Master Checks, Otoe Master and Masteroani. The other three stallions to accomplish the task were King Fritz, Nu Cash and Smart Chic Olena.

“Run To Reno” is open to all Non-Pro and Youth riders who compete in any of the horse show class divisions – Bridle, Hackamore, Two Rein or Limited - at the NRCHA Stakes, Hackamore Classic Show #1, Derby or Snaffle Bit Futurity.
Ashley Snider & Sly Chance Pick Up Another Win At Arbuckle
The Arbuckle Mountain Futurity took place in Ardmore, Okla., Feb. 18-25. Sly Chance (That Sly Cat x Oaks Smart Chance x Doc’s Oak) carried Ashley Snider, Lipan, Texas, to a 224 in the 5/6-Year-Old Non-Pro for the win. The duo took home $13,089 for their performance.
Gauthier Wins Florida Classic Non-Pro Derby
2012 Florida Classic Non-Pro Derby Level 4 title on Miss Whizarima (Boggierima x Ghost Buster Baby x Topsail Whiz). They scored a 218.5 to win this year’s class and $5,363. Miss Whizarima is owned by Josiane’s dad, Francois Gauthier.
