The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and Time to Ride have begun outlining plans to strengthen the current marketing alliance between the two organizations. In preparation for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has partnered with First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” initiative to increase opportunities for physical activity among the nation’s youth. By challenging the National Governing Bodies of Olympic and Paralympic sports to bring new engagements to their respective sports, the USEF is pleased to partner with Time to Ride to bring 25,000 new youth engagements to equestrian sports in 2016 through the Time to Ride Challenge.
Horse operations in Maryland, Indiana and Illinois were recently named winners of the Time To Ride Challenge. The nationwide program recognizes stables and horse businesses that implement programs to encourage newcomers to meet horses.
A program that aims to attract new people to horses and riding has launched a newly designed, mobile-friendly website.
