NRHA Announces New Hall of Fame Inductees
At the most recent National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Board of Directors meeting, Feb. 9, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the NRHA Hall of Fame Committee recommended nominees for induction into the NRHA Hall of Fame. The Board approved to honor NRHA past President Rick Weaver and NRHA Senior Director of Publications Carol Trimmer as the Hall of Fame’s newest inductees.

NCHA Hires Help To Find Next Executive Director
The National Cutting Horse Association, the world governing body for the sport of cutting, has secured Jim Harlan, president and CEO of MJM Global Search, Inc. to assist in efforts to fill the position of Executive Director of the more than 16,000-member organization, with a timetable of early next summer established to secure the association's next boss.

Investigation Puts $3.7 Million in 2013 NCHA Funding On Hold
National Cutting Horse Association is scheduled to receive through the Texas Major Events Fund this year, but NCHA President and Interim Executive Director Ernie Beutenmiller, Jr., said on Jan. 9 he believes all issues can be resolved before this year's three "Triple Crown" Fort Worth limited-age events, which could all be impacted.
