Master Remedy dies at age 33

masterremedy gregwardGreg Ward & Master RemedyReined cow horse sire Master Remedy (Doc's Remedy x Wininic x Sugar Vandy), bred and owned by Ward Ranch, Kingsburg, Calif., died Feb. 14 of age-related natural causes. He was 33.

The 1980 stallion was one of only four horses to sire three National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Champions – Master Checks, Otoe Master and Masteroani. The other three stallions to accomplish the task were King Fritz, Nu Cash and Smart Chic Olena.
