Equi-Stat Elite $1 Million Rider Morgan Cromer, of Templeton, Calif., won the Mercuria/NCHA World Series of Cutting Open at the El Ranch Futurity on Sept. 19 riding Lizzys Gotta Babe. The duo marked a 225 for owners Tim and Missy Drummond, of Pawhuska, Okla.
The Idaho Futurity got off to an exciting start on Aug. 31 in Nampa with the Mercuria/National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) World Series of Cutting finals. Both the Open and Non-Pro saw eight horse-and-rider duos vying for the championships at the Ford Idaho Horse Park, and both held tough competition.
The Huntington Beach, Calif., police department is in the process of building their first mounted patrol unit for the popular tourist city.
