Amarillo Heats up With Open at West Texas Futurity

As the Open limited-age classes wrapped up at the West Texas Futurity, held Aug. 10-20 in Amarillo, Texas, cutting fans had a lot to talk about. A new crop of 3-year-olds is making its debut and familiar names in the 4-Year-Old and 5/6-Year-Old divisions are continuing to dominate.

U.S. Teams Make Great Effort at SVAG FEI World Reining Championships

A talented group of up-and-coming athletes represented the Platinum Performance U.S. Teams at the 2017 SVAG Federation Equestra Internationale (FEI) World Reining Championships for Juniors and Young Riders on Aug. 11 and 12. Under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe Jeff Petska, the U.S. combinations put forth determined efforts throughout the championships.

Updates to the 2017 NRHA Candidates

The final deadline to nominate candidates to the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Executive Committee and Board of Directors passed on Aug. 2, so a complete slate of candidates is now presented to the membership for consideration.
