By Saturday morning, when the pains had not lessened, Anthony agreed to go to be hospitalized. It was determined that he had indeed suffered a heart attack.
A stent was placed in the blocked artery, which immediately eased the pain and got the blood flowing. Anthony had quadruple bypass surgery in 1998.
