Wallawhizagun Takes Wild Card Levels 4 & 3 Open Championships

And of those 21 horses, it was Wallawhizagun, ridden by Gabe Hutchins to a 219, that took home the Levels 4 and 3 championships for owner Tamarack Ranch LLC, of Joseph, Oregon.

Around 100 people attended the seminar – so many that more chairs had to be brought in to accommodate everyone. Brainard’s topic was “Inside the Mind of an NRHA Judge,” and he used video from actual runs to he give examples of plusses and penalties one might see in the reining pen.

The 2016 National Reining Horse Assocation (NRHA) European Futurity crowned its Non-Pro champions on April 23 in the Ostbayerhalle in Kreuth, Germany. Claiming the €36,000-added Futurity Level 4 Non-Pro win was Gina Schumacher, of Germany, riding Whizzard (Topsail Whiz x Shiney Lil Miss x Shining Spark), owned by Chanay Sky Management, SA. The pair had already left their mark in the pen after winning the qualifying go-round with a 218.5.

The Open finals of the NRHA European Futurity closed the eighth edition of the prestigious show in the Ostbayernhalle arena. Draw 46 in a field of 50 finalists, multiple NRHA Open World Champion Ann Fonck and Roosters Attitude, claimed the Futurity Level 4 Open Championship and a €20.135,03 paycheck.
