ARC Ruby Playgunia and Matt Budge won the Open division of the Mercuria/National Cutting Horse Association World Series of Cutting, held Feb. 24-25, at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in Texas.
The Arbuckle Mountain Futurity took place in Ardmore, Okla., Feb. 18-25. Sly Chance (That Sly Cat x Oaks Smart Chance x Doc’s Oak) carried Ashley Snider, Lipan, Texas, to a 224 in the 5/6-Year-Old Non-Pro for the win. The duo took home $13,089 for their performance.
Reyzin and Mary Ann Rapp made their third straight finals and earned their second title since early January by topping Wednesday’s Bonanza Cutting 4-Year-Old Non-Pro finals with a 222.5 to earn $13,692 at the Glen Rose, Texas show.

Sweet Little Cats and Austin Shepard continued a great comeback following a slow start Tuesday in Glen Rose, Texas, by winning the Bonanza Cutting 4-Year-Old Open finals with a 219 to earn $35,133.

Ridden by Equi-Stat Elite $4 Million Rider Boyd Rice, the 5-year-old mare turned in three solid runs, culminating with a 223 performance in the finals to win the 5/6-Year-Old Classic Open on Sunday evening.
