The 2012 Pfizer Versatility Ranch Horse World Championship Show and American Quarter Horse Association Cowboy Mounted Shooting World Championship Show is March 1-3 in Houston, Texas, in conjunction with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The American Quarter Horse Association will host its first Latin American Championships April 17-22 in Avaré, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event is open to all AQHA members in good standing who reside in or are citizens of Latin America. Horses exhibited must be registered American Quarter Horses, and special arrangements will be allowed for leased horses to compete.
More than $2.7 million will be divided among nominated foals that earned a total of 130,066.5 points – making the American Quarter Horse Association Incentive Fund payout for the 2011 show season $21.14 per point.
