Cinder Lakes Ranch Stallions move for 2024 Breeding Season

Last week, Cinder Lakes Ranch announced that the following stallions, including EquiStat $6 Million Sire Spooks Gotta Whiz, would move for the 2024 breeding season to different stallion stations.

Cinder Lakes Ranch released the following statement on FaceBook on December 30, 2023:

“Thank you to everyone who has extended kindness, patience and grace over the past several weeks as we take steps to determine what is best for stallions, owners and the future of Cinder Lakes Ranch.

Effective today, all stallions on this roster are now under the newly designated management listed below, and all contract requests may be sent directly to them.

While it was never in our plan to see these incredible individuals leave our care, we are grateful for the time and love that we have been afforded to pour into them—because they have and always will be more than just stallions to us—they each have their own unique personalities that we’ve come to know and love, and at our core we BELIEVE in them and what they have the ability to achieve as sires in their respective disciplines.

Thank you to the stallion owners for their trust through this transition—and their unwavering commitment to doing what we felt would be the best representation and relationship moving forward for their stallion.

Thank you to the stallion management teams who have stepped up and into all that we have asked of them in making this transition smooth. We have no doubts that each has landed in exactly the right place, and more than anything, we look forward to continuing to support them and their offspring for years to come.

Please note that all 2024 contracts that have been returned up to this point will be honored and have been passed along to the respective stallion stations. Those entities will be reaching out in the coming weeks to confirm details and make arrangements for the upcoming breeding season.”
