RESULTS: Texas Best Rope Futurity

The Texas Best Rope Futurity took place over September 22-23 in the Somervell County Expo Center in Glen Rose, Tx and brought forth the best in the industry for one of the final rope futurities of the season.

Scores from Texas Best were based on two judges’ scores plus the “time score” combined. Judges scores begin from a base of 70, while time scores are figured by subtracting the time of the run from 80. Penalties of five seconds were applied for heeling a single leg, and ten second penalties were applied for broken barriers. The Cross Fire Rule was in effect and the flagger/judges were to determine if any reruns were warranted.
