In one day a total of 671 head of horses came to Billings, Montana for the May 27 Cow Country Classic Catalog Billings Livestock Horse Sale.
Celebrating a sale high of $36,000 was a fancy friesian cross mare. Second high seller was Curtis Tari (Commander Curtis x Bar Dee Texas Tari x Royal Texas Josy), a ranch gelding, at $30,500, and the top five average was $28,400. An own son of EquiStat $1 Million Sire Bamacat sold for $18,500.
3-Time NFR Team Roping Qualifier, Quinn Kesler, consigned Snortin Nitrous (Nitrocat x Snortys Little Trix x Snorty Lena) who sold for $22,000.
53 head of catalog horses brought between $3,500 and $7,500.
