The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) recently announced several updates to the upcoming 2022 NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity.
Officials say due to the tremendous volume of entries and the new leveling structure being implemented at the show, the dates of the NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity have expanded. The NCHA Futurity is now scheduled to be held from Monday, Nov. 14, through Saturday, Dec. 10 at the historic Will Rogers Memorial Complex in Fort Worth, Texas.
The final payment deadline for all entries is Oct. 3. Officials say all remaining entries will see a $30 surcharge per entry. This surcharge does not apply to entries that have already been paid in full. The date of Oct. 3 is also the last date to transfer entries between divisions for $100.
There will be $750,000 in added money to the NCHA Futurity payout. This $750,000 added will be divided between each of the divisions of the event, including the Open, Non-Pro and Amateur classes.
