Logicality & Debbie Crafton Spectacular in Colorado

Logicality and Debbie Crafton were the Open Bridle Spectacular Champions at this year’s The Sagebrush horse show.

Crafton, of Fowler, Colorado, and the horse won $966 thanks to their composite score of 433. Bred by Anne Reynolds, Logicality is by Magicality and out of the mare Boonlight Angel (by Boonlight Dancer). Bet Shesa Pepto (Bet Hesa Cat x Lil Miss Pepto x Peptoboonsmal) and Ashley Deacon teamed up for Reserve with their 423 to earn $805 for owners Cody and Katharine Clements. 

Non-Pro Bridle Spectacular

Earning $534 for first in the Non-Pro Bridle Spectacular was Meg Ralston, Silt, Colorado, riding Seven S Tuff Boots (Blind Sided x My Boots Are Tuff x Woody Be Tuff) to a composite of 430, while reserve honors went to Jecca Ostrander, Gordon, Nebraska, aboard her Box O Quarter Horses’ standout 2014 stallion Opus Cat Olena (WR This Cats Smart x Opus Chic x Smart Chic Olena) to a 429 for $320.25.

NRCHA officials Taylor Gillespie and Cayley Wilson judged The Sagebrush show. 

The next event on schedule for the CRCA, which was the 2021 NRCHA Affiliate of the Year, is The Drought Buster slated for May 19-22 in McCook, Nebraska. The Drought Buster offers $27,100-added and a full slate of NRCHA Derby and Spectacular divisions, plus the ever-popular Open and Non-Pro four-event Stock Horse Challenge, two days of horse show action and jackpot classes.
