The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) recently issued a statement answering questions about new rule changes allowing non-pro riders to have sponsors.
The changes will go into effect in January, and allow non-pro riders to earn sponsorships and endorsements. It also allows youth riders to work for NRHA professions.
The change was prompted by a decision by the National Collegiate Athletics Association to allow collegiate athletes to benefit from their names, images, and likenesses.
