The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo will soon be open again.
Officials with the Hall announced it is planning a grand re-opening on Aug. 17.
The Hall of Fame & Museum is a place for horse lovers of all ages to learn more about the breed and a quiet sanctuary in which to appreciate some outstanding artwork.
“Our Museum is dedicated to educating and sharing our passion with visitors who travel near and far to view the beautiful Hall of Fame and learn about the legendary people and horses who shaped our breed,” said AQHA Chief Foundation Officer Chris Sitz said in a statement. “We are truly excited to welcome visitors back with new interactive exhibits and original works of art not to be missed.”
The Hall of Fame & Museum will open on Aug. 17 and will feature two new exhibits including America’s Horse in Art, the Museum’s annual art show and sale and Bloodlines of the Breed, which captures the pivotal sires that created today’s American Quarter Horse.
