AQHA Releases 2021 Convention Schedule

The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) will hold its annual convention in person this year. Members must be present to vote.

The 2021 AQHA Convention is slated for March 18-22 in San Antonio, Texas, and officials with the organization say it will be held according to local, state and federal mandates.

The tentative schedule, which has been modified, includes some larger gatherings that will be held outdoors.

According to the AQHA, there a number of things attendees should know:

* In order for AQHA members to vote, they must be members for at least 60 days before the first day of the event.

* Members must be present (in person) to vote

* Committee meetings – which are open to registered attendees – have two sessions: open discussion and a session for just committee members.

Last year, the AQHA canceled this annual event due to the coronavirus. This year’s event, originally slated for February, was pushed back to March.

The cost to register is $150. Visit to register or learn more about the event.
