2021 Augusta Futurity at Perry

The 42nd Augusta Futurity, to be known as “The Augusta Futurity at Perry,” will be held Jan. 17-23, 2021. Due to concerns about the COVID-19 crisis, officials of the Augusta Futurity decided to move the 2021 competition to the Georgia National Fairgrounds & AgriCenter in Perry, Georgia, which is south of Macon.

“This is a one-time development on a trial basis,” said Show Chairman William S. “Billy” Morris. “We are very proud to have originated this show in Augusta in 1980 as the first Atlantic Coast Cutting Futurity and to have operated here in Augusta for the past four decades.”

This year’s Augusta Futurity will have $284,000 total added money, $1,500 added NCHA-approved weekend events, and an $82,500 added stallion stakes incentive.

The Augusta Futurity Select Performance Horse Sale will be held January 23. Entry deadline is January 1. Consignment fee is $300, and there will be no stall fee for sale horses.

More information on the show and the stallion stakes incentive are below. There is also an entry form. For the schedule of events and more information on the horse sale, visit For preferred seats and other tickets, please contact the Augusta Futurity at 706-823-3417.
