Does Your Vet Rock? The AAEP Wants to Hear About It

Is your veterinarian amazing? A real rock star of the animal medical profession?

The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) launched the My Vet Rocks contest to find all the great horse docs in the country. Winners will be honored at its annual convention.

Horse owners may submit an online entry of 500 words or less describing how their AAEP-member veterinarian delivers exemplary care. Nominations can be made online at https://aaep.org/myvetrocks. Submissions will be accepted through Aug. 31.

Three veterinarians will be selected for recognition each month —June through August— in a win-place-show order. Monthly honorees and their nominators will be acknowledged across AAEP’s traditional and new media platforms and receive a prize package.

The My Vet Rocks Contest is sponsored by American Regent Animal Health, manufacturer of Adequan® i.m. (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan). It is just one of the contests and promotional efforts AAEP has made in recent years to celebrate the work of equine veterinarians.

A grand prize winner will be selected from among the three monthly “Win” honorees and recognized Dec. 6 during the AAEP’s 66th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nev.
