The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) is accepting applications for three awards that honor Youth members and clubs for involvement in the community. The APHA Youth awards will be accepted for the next six months.
The three awards are the American Junior Paint Horse Association (AjPHA) Club of the Year, From the Heart Award and AjPHA Member of the Year. The deadline to apply is Nov. 1.
The AjPHA Club of the Year award recognizes outstanding AjPHA regional clubs. The winner receives $1,000.
The From the Heart Award recognizes the AjPHA club that provides the most dedication and support to the AjPHA Presidential Project. The winning club will receive $500, sponsored by Markel Insurance.
The AjPHA Member of the Year award recognizes a youth who is well-rounded and exemplifies the spirit of community involvement, volunteer work, scholarship and leadership. The winning Youth receives a beautiful custom-designed belt buckle and a $1,000 scholarship.
The material for the AjPHA Club of the Year and the From the Heart Award applications can include any activities through November 2020. Applications will be posted at https://apha.com/ajpha/forms/. For details, email Megan McMullen at [email protected]
