Coronavirus Cancellations

Updated June 10 at 4:05 p.m. CST.

The coronavirus continues to shape the spring show season for cutters, reiners and reined cow horse participants.

As the coronavirus spreads, several of the Western performance horse industry’s major events are being postponed or canceled in an effort to contain the virus in the United States and abroad.

An outbreak of COVID-19, a respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus named SARS-CoV-2, began in Wuhan, China, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It was declared a pandemic on March 11 by the World Health Organization (WHO).
