The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity continues through Saturday in Oklahoma City.
The CINCH Non-Pro Futurity divisions began on Sunday, which ended with Snips Shining Gun and Jessicah Keller of Texas sitting atop the leaderboard at the State Fair Park’s Norick Arena with a 218, best among Levels 4, 3 and 2.
The 3-year-old mare is by Colonels Shining Gun and out of Snip O Gun (x One Gun). Snips Shining Gun is owned by Hillsdale Farm of Brasher, Texas.
The Level 1 Non-Pro leader was KR Smart Gal (Smart Spook x A Ruf Gal) and Janine Letterer at 216.5.
The $20,000 NRHA Invitational Freestyle Reining will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Non-Pro Futurity finals are scheduled for Friday, while the Open finals are set for Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Level 4 is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
