New NCHA Text Alerts Launched for Futurity, World Finals

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) has created text-alert services for the Futurity and the World Finals shows. A free service, the NCHA text alerts are designed to keep people up-to-date during the events at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Notifications will include when draws are posted, arena start times, party start times and more, said Todd Barden, the director of marketing and sponsorship for NCHA.

“It’s a way to keep our show attendees up to date with the latest and most accurate information conveniently shared to their mobile devices,” Barden said via email.

There are separate NCHA text alerts for the Futurity and World Finals. Those who want alerts for both shows must sign up for both.

To sign up for Futurity-specific alerts, text FUTURITY to 817.663.7571. To get World Finals-related notifications, text WORLDFINALS to 817.663.7571.

The NCHA Futurity, which started Nov. 21, runs through Dec. 15 in Fort Worth. The NCHA World Finals, which runs Nov. 29-Dec. 7, features the top 15 contestants in several NCHA divisions. This year’s World Finals includes multiple award ceremonies and concludes with the new Celebration of the Weekend Cutter party on Dec. 7.
