Dustin Gonnet had double reason to celebrate at this year’s Calgary Stampede Cutting Horse Futurity Oct. 16-20. Gonnet, of Cayley, Alberta, rode CR Tuff Boorey to win the Futurity Open finals with a 219.5 score. Then he hopped aboard Smooth And Peppy to win the Derby Open Championship title.
Amanda Digness of Millet, Alberta, rode her gelding, Sweet Sheldon Rey, to the Futurity Non-Pro winner’s circle with a score of 214.
