NCHA Seeking Nominees For Todd Drummond Award

Nominations are being accepted for an award that honors young National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) members.

Each NCHA affiliate has the opportunity to nominate an outstanding Youth member for the Todd Drummond Memorial Award, which recognizes scholastic achievement, cutting, horse involvement and extracurricular activities.

Nominations are open through Oct. 1. The winner will be recognized during the NCHA Futurity in Fort Worth, Texas. A custom-designed buckle will be given to the awardee.

The nominations will be reviewed by a three-person committee appointed by the NCHA president. The committee will recommend up to three nominees to the NCHA Executive Committee, which will choose the winner.

Last year, Nicole Pietrafeso was named the winner of the 2017 Todd Drummond Memorial Award. Previous recent winners include Maddison Murray, Morgan Griggs, Kolby Moore, Ryan Howell and Cheyenne Johnson.

Affiliates can find nomination forms at nchacutting.com.
