Wimpys Little Step an NRHA Ten Million Dollar Sire

Wimpys Little Step has crossed into NRHA Ten Million Dollar Sire status.

The National Reining Horse Association announced Friday the 1999 palomino stallion (Nu Chex To Cash x Leolita Step x Forty Seven) had crossed the important milestone. He is only the third horse to reach that elite sire status, joining fellow NRHA Ten Million Dollar Sire Colonels Smoking Gun(Gunner) and NRHA Eleven Million Dollar Sire Topsail Whiz.

Wimpys Little Step, who became an Equi-Stat Elite $10 Million Sire six months ago, as of Friday had an Equi-Stat sire record of $10,403,687. The statistical service compiles money won in all three Western performance disciplines as well as additional incentives not recorded by individual discipline-specific organizations.

The stallion bred by Hilldale Farm is owned by Michael and Michelle Miola’s Silver Spurs Equine. He stands Xtra Quarter Horses, LLC in Purcell, Oklahoma.
