The Southern Cutting Futurity is excited to announce the Southern Memorial Day Youth Scholarship Cutting. Young cutters will be awarded $20,000 in scholarships over the three-day circuit to be held May 26-28, 2018, at the Kirk Fordice Equine Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Full championship cuttings will be held Friday, May 25, through Monday, May 28.
The goal is for every youth participant to receive a scholarship, even if they compete in only one of the three days. Those who participate in all three will have the opportunity to earn more, as will those with higher scores.
Circuit awards will be presented, and each youth contestant will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
The Southern Cutting Futurity thanks early scholarship donors for their generous contributions and invites others to help support the future of cutting by supporting the youth.
