Competitors have some extra time to enter the Transwest National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Western National Championships presented by 6666 Ranch.
The NCHA announced the entry deadline for the event in Denver, Colorado, has been extended until May 31. Previously, entries had to be in by Thursday (May 24).
Owners and riders must be current NCHA members to compete. They do not have to qualify from the 2017 point year to enter, according to the NCHA website.
The revised schedule calls for the event to kick off on June 24 with the Junior Youth, Senior Youth and $25,000 Novice. It continues through June 30.
