Tunes In Hollywood (out of Shiney Tari x Shining Spark), owned by Maria Buey Arietti, tied for the Level 3 Open Championship alongside Xtra Goodstep with a 225. With Rocky Dare in the saddle, the pair came home with a check of $4,188, which brought Tunes In Hollywood’s lifetime earnings to $23,601.
Hollywoodstinseltown’s highest-earning offspring is 2010 stallion Tinseltown Fly Guy (out of Fly Flashy Jac x Boggies Flashy Jac), with lifetime earnings of $264,139. Shawn Flarida rode Tinseltown Fly Guy, owned by Patricia Holtzman, to wins at the 2016 Florida Reining Classic and All American Quarter Horse Congress (AAQHC) Futurity, among others, and they were the 2013 NRHA Futurity Level 4 Open Reserve Champions.
Nearly $200,000 separates Hollywoodstinseltown’s No. 1 and No. 2 offspring, Smokinghot Hollywood (out of Smoking Rose x Colonels Smoking Gun [Gunner]). The 2012 stallion owned by Gaynell and Lawrence Simpson boasts $87,108 lifetime earnings. Jason Vanlandingham rode Smokinghot Hollywood to a win at the 2016 OKRHA Ride & Slide as well as a top ten placing at the 2016 NRHA Derby, Tulsa Reining Classic and the High Roller Reining Classic Derby. They were seventh at the 2015 NRHA Futurity.
No. 3 on Hollywoodstinseltown’s record is Tinseltown Flash (out of Billie Gun Flash x Gunner) with lifetime earnings of $83,176. Tinseltown Flash is owned by Ruoff Dietter Reining Horses and was predominately ridden by Robin Schoeller to victories at the 2018 Florida Reining Classic and the 2015 AAQHC Futurity.
