In the Know: Stay Up To Date With QHN’s NCHA Futurity App

Staying up to date at the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Futurity is now as easy as tapping an icon on your phone’s home screen. Thanks to a new progressive web app from Quarter Horse News (QHN) and sponsored by Platinum Performance, the resources you need to make the most of your Futurity experience are at your fingertips.

The Cutting Futurity app features various channels, or groups of targeted information, for Futurity goers and fans across the globe. Joining the channels will ensure users don’t miss any of the action at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

Along with a schedule of events, the live webcast and updated results, coverage of the Futurity Open, Non-Pro and Unlimited Amateur/Amateur divisions will populate the app throughout the show, held Nov. 15-Dec. 10 in Fort Worth, Texas. Other channels include information about the NCHA World Finals, Western Bloodstock Sales and special events.

QHN’s Cutting Futurity app is available online at There is no need to download anything from the App Store or Google Play. Shortcuts to the app include texting the word “CUTTING” to 28748 or scanning the app’s QR code. Once on the app page, Android users will be prompted to save a quick access icon to their phone home screen, while Apple users can do so by using the “Add to Home Screen” button in the browser menu.
