Stylish Top Brow And Pinkston Continue To Roll In Southern Cutting Futurity

The win earned $4,500 for Quirk’s Plantation Farms and pushed the Double Dove Ranch-bred gelding’s lifetime earnings to more than $58,000. Quirk’s Equi-Stat record stands at $137,035.

Reserve Champions Rick French and Adrenalynn Rush marked a 215, earning $3,044. French, of Lexington, Tennessee, has lifetime earnings of more than $200,000. Adrenalynn Rush (CD Royal x Trouble Lynn 495 x Smart and Trouble) has roughly $75,000 in earnings.

Classic Amateur

Katherine Van Boekel and Sweet EE Motion eked out a half-point victory in the Classic Amateur. Van Boekel, of Mount Elgin, Ontario, Canada, and the 2011 mare (Cat Ichi x Mimi Floyd x Freckles Floyd) marked a 217.5. Reserve Champions Jeff Byars and A Smooth Huntress marked a 217.

The $2,000 first-place check pushed Sweet EE Motion’s (Cat Ichi x Mimi Floyd x Freckles Floyd) lifetime earnings to nearly $80,000. Van Boekel has more than $127,000 in lifetime earnings, according to Equi-Stat.

Byars, of Town Creek, Alabama, and his 2011 mare (Smooth As A Cat x Dual Huntress x Dual Pep) earned $1,800. Bred by Jerry Yelverton, of Russellville, Arkanas, A Smooth Huntress now has lifetime earnings of more than $14,000.
