First Reiners Giving Back Event Scheduled

reinersgivingbackrsThe first Reiners Giving Back event will be held Oct. 20 at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses in Aubrey, Texas.Join reiners Oct. 20 for a day filled with education and fellowship, all while supporting Rein In Cancer and the Reining Horse Foundation! All profits from the first annual Reiners Giving Back event will go directly to these important non-profit groups in the reining industry.

There’s something for everyone, from green riders to trainers. Spend the day with National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) professionals Casey Deary, Jason Vanlandingham and Tim McQuay. Riding space is very limited, so call Mandy McCutcheon at 940-453-7543 today to secure your space. Limited stabling available upon request.

Group 1 will be devoted to green riders, rookies and youth, and will focus on basic fundamentals. These riders will join seasoned trainers and their fellow competitors to increase their knowledge and show pen success.

Groups 2 and 3 were created for professionals, non-pros and advanced youth and will add a degree of difficulty. This group will challenge riders to move to the next level with their horses.

Don’t miss lunch, sponsored by Pard’s Western Store. Dr. Pat Garrett will give a do-not-miss educational presentation to attendees.

Location: Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses in Aubrey, Texas
Cost: $200 per horse-and-rider combination/$25 per non-riding auditor
Time: Attendees may observe all day, plus ride in one of three riding sessions

Group 1: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (includes educational presentation)
Group 2 (advanced): 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Group 3 (advanced): 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

After the event, riders can head to the Southwest Reining Horse Association (SWRHA) Futurity and Show, which will be held in the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Oct. 20-30!
