Geoffrey Sheehan piloted Cromed Out Cat to a 223 in the first set, then Matt Miller and Amandas CD matched their score.

While Amandas CD (High Brow CD x Amanda Stargun x Playgun) has won several titles this year, including the Abilene Spectacular 4-Year-Old Championship and the Derby Open Championship at the Cattlemen’s, this is Cromed Out Cat’s first championship.

Both champions picked up a $13,500 paycheck. Amandas CD, who is owned by Chris and Tracy Brengard of Paragould, Arkansas, now has a lifetime record totaling more than $190,000, and she is still leading the National Cutting Horse Association Open Horse of the Year standings. Prior to arriving in Las Vegas, the mare had 540 points toward the title.

Cromed out Cat (High Brow Cat x Peptos Fancy Jewel x Peptoboonsmal), who was bred by Jackson Land and Cattle LLC and is owned by Beechfork Ranch, pushed her Equi-Stat record past the $100,000 mark with this title.
