Glitter Done Wins Another Mercuria Title in Idaho

Mercuria Non-Pro

As the first draw in the Mercuria Non-Pro finals, Kade Smith and his own 5-year-old mare Hay U (Third Cutting x A Little Reylena x Dual Rey) set the bar high when they marked a 225, and that proved to be impossible to beat when it held the lead through the end of the finals.

Smith garnered $10,178 for his high marks and was thrilled with the performance of his mare in Idaho.

“She was just really on today, and it feels really good,” Smith said.

Carol Ward and her 10-year-old gelding Spooked By A Cat (Cat Ichi x San Starlight x Grays Starlight) marked a solid 220 for $8,059 and the Reserve Championship.
