Judy Rogers Tops Limited Non-Pro at Summer Spectacular on New Mount

Judy RogersJudy Rogers & Dualin Cat LenaJudy Rogers and Dualin Cat Lena earned the top spot in the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Summer Spectacular Classic/Challenge Limited Non-Pro go-round, and they kept the fire going in the finals by marking a 223.

She entered the ring with a focused mind on her brand new mount, Dualin Cat Lena (Dualin Boon x Little Cat Lena x High Brow Cat) and pulled together to grasp the Championship.

“I just try to go out and show my horse and do the best that I can do,” Rogers said.

The title brought a paycheck of $8,498, which pushed the 5-year-old gelding’s lifetime earnings to nearly $63,000.

Jaylee Hall and her Jimmy Purselley-bred gelding (High Brow CD x WJ Pretty In Pink x Peptoboonsmal) marked a 221 as the first draw and claimed the Reserve title, worth $7,720.
