Jenkins, of Temecula, California, was thrilled to do so well with “Hugo,” who she owns as part of Tricked Out Spook Partners.

“I’m just so proud of him,” Jenkins said. “It’s taken us a little while to get together, but it’s finally all come together. I knew he’s that kind of horse, I just had to get every little bit put together.”

Tricked Out Spook (Spooks Gotta Gun x Rowdy Brinna x Rowdy Yankee) is a 6-year-old stallion who was bred by Thomas and Terry McDowell. He and Jenkins collected $14,898, pushing his lifetime earnings to more than $50,000.

Late Night Stopper and Martin Muehlstaetter’s 224 took the Level 3 Open Reserve Championship and $3,386 for owners Marc and Kathy Gordon, of Elgin, Illinois. They also placed sixth in Level 4 for an additional $3,032. Late Night Stopper (Jacs Electric Spark x Best Stop x Custom Crome) is a 5-year-old Wagman Ranch Inc.-bred stallion.
