Futurity Level 3 Open
Martin Muehlstaetter is no stranger to Reining By The Bay. In 2014, he rode Electric Barbie to win the Level 4 Futurity Open. This year he returned to ride Whizkey Rock N Roll to a 221.5. While the duo settled for Reserve in the Level 4, they were able to take the Level 3 Open Championship home to owner Farniente Corp., of Long Grove, Illinois.
Whizkey Rock N Roll is by Whizkey N Diamonds and out of Snip O Chex (by Nu Chex To Cash), who is a producer of 11 money-earners. He was bred by Cinder Lakes Ranch LLC. With his two new titles, the stallion now boasts $4,170.
“He was really nice. He felt really good. I didn’t push him really hard, but I obviously pushed him enough,” Muehlstaetter said of the 3-year-old. “He really feels like a show horse.”
Muehlstaetter now stands at more than $570,000 in lifetime earnings.
