After trying different avenues the Appaloosa Horse Club Sale Committee has made the decision to bring their World Sale back to the live auction ring.
The 2016 World Sale will be presented by dac® and takes place on October 26th in conjunction with the World Championship ApHC Show at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
“The ApHC is especially pleased about the return of a live sale during World Show week.” ApHC Executive Director Steve Taylor said. “Providing a marketplace for our members is important and we greatly appreciate the partnership with dac® to make the 2016 sale a reality. A reduced consignment fee and a change in scheduling are expected to prove beneficial for buyers and sellers.”
Superior Livestock Auction’s Production team will spearhead sale management and provide an extra level of marketing through their services for all the horses. Superior Productions has a live camera platform and will broadcast the auction over the internet, increasing the opportunity for potential buyers.
The consignment fee for all sale entries is $250, and eight percent commission of the sale price with a minimum of $200. The same commission will apply to repurchases or horses offered with unmet reserve bids.
