Holly Muench Wins Non-Pro at NCHA Western National Championships

The duo marked a 222 and collected a paycheck worth $4,139.

This win brings Muench’s lifetime earnings to more than $70,000, and her 2008 gelding (Pretty Boy Cat x Katie May CD x CD Olena) has earnings of more than $30,000 following this win, according to Equi-Stat.

Heidi Evans and Sues Last Time (One Time Pepto x Meradas Little Sue x Freckles Merada) picked up the Reserve Championship and $3,407 with a score of 218.

$35,000 Non-Pro

John Carmichael, of Dallas, and his gelding Catmerize were the next-to-last draw in the $35,000 Non-Pro finals, and their score of 218 earned them the Championship, worth $4,313.

Catmerize (High Brow Cat x Merada Missy x Freckles Merada), who was bred by Three Trees Ranch, of Newnan, Georgia, now boasts lifetime earnings in excess of $50,000 while his owner elevated his Equi-Stat record to more than $18,000.

Paige Morse rode Exotic Ride (Im Countin Checks x Little Exotic Dancer x Smart Little Lena) to the Reserve Championship and a  $3,514 payday with a score of 217.

$15,000 Novice Non-Pro and $5,000 Novice Non-Pro continued on page 2
