Waggoner Estate will hold its Horse Division’s Total Reduction Sale as a special session during the April 23 sale in Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum.

“We are so excited to be the venue chosen to showcase the horses from this legendary Texas ranch, because for many, this offers what might be their only chance to own a part of history,” Reed said.

Waggoner Ranch Horse Division Manager Trace Cribbs commented, “When we decided to reduce our numbers, we felt like Ardmore would be a good fit for what we wanted to sell. It’s a good time of the year with these horses coming off wheat pasture, and Susie’s sales have a good track record.”

The offering of more than 60 head will include yearlings, 2- and 3-year-old fillies, bred mares and broke geldings. Plus, two stallions – Greyt Whiz and Pocket Fulla Pepto – will sell. Greyt Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Easter Cabin x Easter Gentleman) is a National Reining Horse Association money-earner. The 2002 gray stallion is the sire of multiple money-earners including 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Versatility Ranch Horse Amateur World Champion Greyt Socks. Pocket Fulla Pepto is a 2010 red roan stallion by Peptoboonsmal (Peppy San Badger x Royal Blue Boon x Boon Bar). A cutting earner of $6,476, Pocket Fulla Pepto’s dam is $89,424-earner Studio Playgirl (Freckles Playboy x Studio Lena x Doc O’Lena). His oldest foal is a 3-year-old.

The sale catalog will be online at www.themarketplaceatardmore.com. In addition to the live auction, bids will be accepted online at Superior Productions’ website: www.superiorlivestock.com.
