Jodie Kidd Takes $35,000 Non-Pro Championship at Eastern Nationals

In the two-set finals, Jodie Kidd and Wood U Stop (Zack T Wood x Candualena x Dual Pep) marked a 217 as 12th draw, which put them on top of the division. 

They received a paycheck of $4,538 for their success, and the earnings pushed Wood U Stop to an Equi-Stat record of nearly $60,000. The 7-year-old stallion was bred by Vick Etheridge, of Corinth, Mississippi, and is owned by Sharon Ann Overstreet, of Kenansville, Florida.

Matthew Coldiron piloted Aristo Jazz (Smart Aristocrat x Sheza Jazzy Player x Freckles Playboy), to a 216.5 and Doug Secrest matched their score on Copencougarhagen (High Brow Cougar x Uno Queen x Smart Little Uno). Both pairs earned the Co-Reserve Championship and a check of $3,255.
