Junie Wood Tops Showdown In Cowtown Open Go-Round

Unlimited Amateur

The Unlimited Amateur, which was split between Nov. 17 and 18, brought 84 horse-and-rider combinations to the pen. Lil Sting Rey (Dual Rey x Sanjo Lisa x San Jo Lena) and rider/owner Cathy Varnadore topped the class with a 221.

Coming in just behind Varnadore with a 220 was Divas On Time (One Time Pepto x Desires Cat x High Brow Cat) and Amanda Standish. Standish, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been a force to be reckoned with in the cutting pen, with lifetime earnings of more than $100,000.
