The stallion, known for his athleticism, is owned by Hendricks Broten Equine Assets – a partnership between Equi-Stat Elite $1 Million Rider Dell Hendricks and Sally Broten.

The offspring of Starlights Wrangler have earned money in the NRHA, National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), Ranch Horse Association of America and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). He is the sire of NRHA, NRCHA and American Quarter Horse Youth Association AQHYA World champions.

Starlights Wrangler has sired AQHA point earners in halter, roping, working cow horse and reining, along with multiple NRHA Futurity and Derby Open and Non-Pro champions.

Starlights Wrangler, a 1997 stallion bred by Ray Stark, of Los Olivos, California, was a leading performer during his show career. With lifetime earnings of $128,927, his accomplishments include 2000 NRHA Futurity Open finalist; 2002 National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC) Derby Open Champion; NRHA Derby Open finalist; and United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Festival of Champions silver medalist.

With a blue-blood pedigree, it’s no surprise that Starlights Wrangler is not only a talented athlete, but also a versatile sire. His sire, Grays Starlight, has sired earners of more than $12.5 million in cutting, reining, reined cow horse and roping. His dam, Wranglers Connie, is an earner of $26,234, and she was a finalist in the 1982 NCHA Futurity Open with Terry Riddle. The talented producer has six money-earning offspring with total earnings of $345,806.
