AQHA Member Releases Music Video Featuring Legendary Cowboys

The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) was honored to work with Paul Bogart, who is an Oklahoma country music singer/songwriter and AQHA World Champion, as he paid tribute to cowboys in his new music video, “Cowboy Ride,” off his album, “Oklahoma Wind.” The music video includes some AQHA legendary horsemen and historic pictures of cowboys and cowgirls.

Bogart and AQHA teamed up to compile the photos necessary to make his vision come to life for the music video. Bogart then gave AQHA viewers the first chance to watch “Cowboy Ride.” The music video is available on AQHA’s Facebook, website and YouTube channel.

“I’m really excited about it because not only do I get to work with some extremely talented folks in this process, but we are paying tribute to some incredibly talented folks as well, and you all may know some of them,” Bogart said. “We are tipping our hat to specific cowboys and horsemen who have helped shape the lifestyle of the American cowboy.”

Paul is no stranger to the horse industry, as he has several AQHA World championships under his belt and will be competing again this year at the 2015 Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show.

“I started competing in the American Quarter Horse Association at age 12 and never stopped. That organization, along with rodeo scholarships, single-handedly paid my way through college,” he said with sincere gratitude.
