Pale Face Dunnit will now stand at Silver Spurs Equine, owned by Michael and Michelle Miola.

“We have had plenty of opportunities to sell ‘Gold Digger’ over the years,” Ginger Schmersal said. “We chose not to because we truly believe in this stallion and his offspring. His first couple of foals are showing now and have been money-earners each time out.”

Pale Face Dunnit’s first foals were born in 2012. With only the earliest futurities recorded in Equi-Stat as of mid-August, the stallion has already been represented by his first three money-earners, including Rocky Mountain Summer Slide Futurity Open finalist Faceofaconquistador (out of Luz Del Conquistador x Conquistador Whiz).

Pale Face Dunnit (Colonels Smoking Gun [Gunner] x Lena Dun It x Hollywood Dun It) has an Equi-Stat record of $71,455, much of which was earned with Schmersal in the saddle. The 2007 stallion has been an Open finalist at the reining industry’s largest events, including the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity, NRHA Derby, National Reining Breeders Classic, High Roller Reining Classic and the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show.

“When we moved our training business to Arizona last fall, we felt we had left a major component behind in Oklahoma when we left Pale Face there. We were comfortable knowing Dr. Troop would take the best care of him and our mares,” Schmersal said. “When Michael Miola approached me about partnering with him, we felt having him here in Arizona would allow us to continue to ride him on the off-season and, more importantly, be more involved in the day-to-day operations of his breeding career. Craig and I are very excited to have Mike and Michelle as partners.”

Silver Spurs Equine’s “Stallion City USA” has made headlines several times over the last two years by acquiring or partnering on some of the leading stallions in the industry, as well as up-and-coming young sires. Their stallion roster currently includes: A Sparkling Vintage, Big Chex To Cash, Boom Shernic, Conquistador Whiz, Cromed Out Mercedes, Custom Cash Advance, Docs Soula, Einsteins Revolution, HF Mobster, Mister Montana Nic, Nic It In The Bud, Platinum Vintage, SG Frozen Enterprize, Smoking Whiz, Spooks Gotta Gun, Tinker With Guns, What It Takes (AR) and now, Pale Face Dunnit.

“Michelle and I are proud to partner with our longtime friends Craig and Ginger Schmersal to stand this magnificent stallion,” Michael Miola said. “Standing Gold Digger further demonstrates our continuing commitment to the reining industry to provide the best stallions at the best prices.”
