Italian Adelmo Vannini and Girls Got Dual (Dual Spark x Zans Leo Girl) claimed the ERCHA Derby Non-Pro Championship with a cumulative score of 406.5. The 4-year-old mare, who was bred in the United States, had already dominated the go-round.

Elisa Ferrari and Midnight Baydream (ARC Tora Tora x Smart Sarah) followed close behind in second with a 406. The 4-year-old mare was the Pre-Futurity Non-Pro and Limited Non-Pro Champion. Alessandro Tugnoli and Skeet Dancer placed third with a 387.

NRHA Reining 4-Year-Old Futurity Open

Salzmann Reining Horses NRHA Reining Maturity Non-Pro

In the Salzmann Reining Horses NRHA Reining Maturity Non-Pro, for horses 5 years old and older, the winner was Fabian Strebel from Switzerland aboard his Custom Del Cielo, who scored a 216.5. Austrian Klaus Mantl and Hesa Sure Whiz placed second with a 211.5. Two riders tied for third place at 209.5: Eliane Gfeller aboard Walla Dundee Whiz and Lisa Werdaner aboard ARC Pleasetogunyou.

Novice Amateur

The Novice Amateur Futurity was won by Elisa Ferrari aboard Midnight Baydream, who scored a 540. Alessandro Tugnoli and Skeet Dancer placed second with a 533.5, followed by Caroline Baudinger and Surely A Peptocat with a 529.5.

Reining Youth

The Saddle Shop Trading Reining Youth was won by Lisa Werdaner and her 7-year-old American Quarter Horse mare ARC Pleasetogunyou, who scored a 212.5. Werdaner, who was 2014 NRHA Germany Year-End Reserve Champion Youth, dominated the go-round. Werdaner and her mare claimed Team Gold at the FEI European Championships Juniors and were IRHA Derby finalists. Milena Hess and her 5-year-old stallion So Lucky Dude placed second with a 205.5, followed by Simona Neumüller and Royal Footwork in third with a 201.5.

Freestyle Reining

The Freestyle Reining Open was dominated by Anja Vogelgesang aboard Vanilla Deluxe. She rode in white leggings to “Fire and Ice,” topping off her performance with circles without using the reins. They scored a 214. A panda bear from Poland – Borys Pardus aboard Smoking Ricochet – placed second.

The “skeleton,” Johanna Feuerstein and her Hobbies Red Raven, clearly topped the Freestyle Reining Non-Pro, scoring a 212 to the music of “Ghost Riders in the Sky.” Viktoria Seekircher placed second, with Sophia Rau and Miss Peppy Remedy third.
