Dont Look Twice (High Brow Cat x Tapt Twice x Dual Pep), who belongs to Waco Bend Ranch Ltd., and trainer Phil Rapp have been the talk of the cutting horse world since 2009. “Lipstick” was bred by Rapp and his wife, Mary Ann Rapp, and she competed with Rapp over a period of seven years to cutting earnings of $831,035.

Though Dont Look Twice‘s futurity year got off to a slow start, she quickly made up for it during her 4-year-old year, when she and Rapp earned $293,227. That total included trips to the winner’s circle in the Open at the Augusta Futurity, Bonanza Cutting, El Rancho Futurity and Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association Futurity and in the Junior Cutting at the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) World Show. They were the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Summer Spectacular Open Reserve Champions, and also finished fourth at the NCHA Super Stakes.

Their success did not end after the mare’s 4-year-old season. In 2010, they showed successfully in 5- and 6-year-old Open classes, bringing home $145,305. Over the next four years, Lipstick and Rapp added $391,613 to their Equi-Stat records. Dont Look Twice was the 2011 NCHA Horse of the Year, NCHA Open Reserve World Champion, NCHA World Finals Open Show Champion and AQHA Senior Cutting World Champion. In 2012, she was the NCHA Open World Champion, and in 2013, she took the NCHA World Finals Open Show Championship.
